How will seasonal sewer pricing affect my utility bill?
Sanitary sewer pricing is calculated based on your water consumption. If your summer usage (April to September) exceeds your winter usage (October to March) average by more than 5 m3 per month, you will pay for your average winter usage and no more than additional 5 m3 per month. In terms of cost, the most you will pay in the summer of 2009 is $5.38 per month more than in the winter. If your summer water usage exceeds 5 m3 more than the your winter average per month, a credit will be shown on the sewer portion of your summer bill. If your summer water usage is less than the winter average plus 5 m3 per month, you will see no change to your summer bill.
