SDSU has preprofessional programs and advisers for students planning to attend professional schools. Students in the preprofessional programs take additional coursework directed by their adviser to ensure adequate preparation for professional school. It is recommended that students contact their preprofessional adviser in their first semester at SDSU. A list of programs and advisers is available on the PreProfessional Programs Web site, and program descriptions are available in the Academic Advising section of the SDSU General Catalog.
