How will schools identify students for RTA reading intervention services before fall T-PRO data has been received?
The RTA Intervention Teacher, Data Coordinator and primary classroom teachers may use spring scores to identify struggling readers and to begin RTA intervention services. Students without spring scores (ex. newly enrolled) should be assessed using a school-approved diagnostic assessment tool. Upon receipt of fall scores, progress should be evaluated and groups adjusted accordingly.
