A list of suitable books, levels 1 – 26, is posted on the website as a guide. These books will provide schools with examples when selecting similar books to use with year 1 and 2 children. The Reading Recovery text level guide (2005) has been used to compile this list. The guide is available through Curriculum Corporation. You may have observed that many publishers have already levelled their texts.
