How will SAP be adapted to Boston University’s business procedures, processes and policies?
The SAP implementation represents an opportunity for the University to revisit its existing policies and procedures and update them based on institutional experience and leading examples within the higher education industry. Our intent is not to modify SAP to match BU business processes, but to modify our business process to fit SAP’s overall design and functionality. SAP’s core functionality will not be modified or customized, but will be configured to closely align to the optimized processes that BU has developed as a result of the Business Process Optimization process.
