How will SAMI provide assistance for security providers and operatives?
Assistance in the first instance will come in the form of guidance, best practice, and development of KPIs. We will also act as a focal point for the military, and for the wider shipping industry to enter into discourse with the maritime security providers. Membership of SAMI will also assist security providers, as it will give the legitimate, credible and worthy companies a chance to highlight and emphasise their good standing. The other benefits will emerge and be refined over time, but we will work hard for our members.
