How will revenue from the paid parking be spent?
Revenue from the paid parking program will fund ongoing maintenance, as well as future upgrades to facilities and services at Karratha Airport. A number of redevelopment projects are already on the horizon including a $10-million water and waste water upgrade and treatment plant and an $8-million electrical with a major terminal redevelopment scheduled for 2012.
