How will refunds (return of member contributions) be processed for part-time employees who do not qualify for PSERS membership, but had contributions withheld from the first day of employment?
If the employer withheld and reported employee contributions for a part-time employee who did not qualify for membership in PSERS, we will automatically credit the employer for their portion of the contributions. The employee will be notified by PSERS and given instructions on how to request a refund of their contributions and interest.
