The water will be used primarily in the Redwood Shores and Greater Bayfront areas for public and large landscape accounts this is referred to as Phase One of the project. Use of recycled water by Home Owner Associations in the Redwood Shores area is not mandatory. A new Redwood City Recycled Water Use Ordinance was adopted by the City Council on July 7th, 2008 and took effect on August 6th, 2008.
