How will records that have missing NHS Numbers be migrated?

0

The Information Quality Assurance Programme requires 95% of data to be loaded for active patients to have an NHS Number. All records for patients not active must have an NHS Number. The definition of an ‘active’ patient can be found in the IQAP guidance: Data Migration Guidance: Active Patients. Inclusion of the NHS Number is the only way for the record to reach and communicate with the National Spine. For example, applications such as Choose and Book will not work without it. Clinical data cannot be communicated to PSIS without an NHS Number. Records with no NHS Number to be migrated will be loaded into the solution in the same way as any other record, there just will not be an NHS Number associated with it.
