How will rankings be managed with multiple panels and multiple panelists?
The Division believes there is strength in a streamlined grants procedure which will present two ranked lists to the Florida Legislature beginning in the FY2011-2012 grants cycle. To assure consistent scoring across panels, the Division will use a rubric in conjunction with criteria-based scoring. The same rubric and criteria will be used for each panel, and panelists will be educated through an orientation process. The panel process will rely on knowledgeable arts and cultural professionals from Florida and out of state, and the Division encourages you to nominate panelists to serve.
