How will raising funds on this site really help get the film to audiences?
Many films are now made outside the major studio system, and finding their own audiences, particularly in the Documentary genre. However, in order to create the best opportunity for success, indie producers must (a) Raise funds independently; (b) Have an understanding of their core audience and (c) Know how to reach them by utilizing new technologies, led by the internet. With total control of the project, and this additional funding support, we will complete post-production, develop the ideal marketing program and distribute through a number of platforms, in an effort to reach widest audience.
