Canada has more than 100 000 kilometres of oil and natural gas pipelines that have operated safely for decades. The Quest pipeline transporting the CO2 will be very similar to those used to transport natural gas and oil – and oil and gas pipelines have been operating safely and efficiently in Canada for decades.
