How will public participation fit into the new process?
WERF will continue to support and advance broad participation of stakeholders in those research efforts where it is an essential element of delivering value. The Research Council will consider the need for public participation as they make recommendations for membership on each Issue Area Team. Issue Area Teams will also have the ability to reach out to get additional perspectives and input on their research plan as they see fit.
