How will PSI efforts be funded? Are provisions being made to provide technical assistance to states that currently lack capabilities to contribute fully to PSI efforts?
Each participant state is responsible for funding its own efforts in support of the PSI. That said, the U.S. wants to make sure that countries have the capacity to take effective action, and would not rule out the possibility of offering assistance to certain states to help them develop more effective operational capabilities in support of the PSI.
