How will Proposition 46 meet the needs of battered women and children?
Last year, 23,000 women and children were turned away from domestic violence shelters in California,because of a lack of space. We can’t turn our back on these families, who have nowhere else to go.Proposition 46 will fund domestic violence shelters, through the Emergency Housing and AssistanceProgram.
