How will project sponsors get local government and landowners involved?
The personnel and companies connected with the existing Big Stone Plant have a long history of working with local communities through economic development (helping to develop Northern Lights Ethanol, for example) and working with Big Stone restoration groups on lake quality and lake level issues. They have discussed the concept of a Big Stone II with local community members in the past and the idea was well received.
