How will product subject to the directives be marked?

APC has applied the WEEE applicability logo to products that are covered by the directives and defined as a “finished good.” See the EU,WEEE Frequently Asked Questions at URL http://ec.europa.eu/environment/waste/pdf/faq_weee.pdf, for definition of “finished goods.” Products that are not considered finished goods (e.g., cables, sub-components to other finished goods), are not subject to the directives (e.g., Network Air, Racks & Enclosures) or not placed onto the European Union market do not have the WEEE applicability label.
