How will pricing affect a crafters progress?
There is a give-take relationship here. Reasonable prices benefits people all around. At the end of the day, if the harvesting Adventurers try to price gouge the Crafters for raw materials, that does not affect the crafter’s progress. All it does is make the Adventurer’s items less available for them to buy. Not a good idea for them. If the Crafters price gouge, they just plain won’t get business, and likely won’t get as many raw materials from Adventurers. “You’re that person that takes this 30 cost ore and sells swords made from it for 3,000? Forget you.” Silius wanted to be sure that crafters leveling/learning would not be dependent on the price of raw resources.
