How will PECOS manage orders if approval is retrospective?

0

We would encourage orders to be placed when goods or services are required. If orders need to be placed retrospectively e.g. in an emergency, approval will work in the same way to orders that had been raised using the standard process. If orders are raised retrospectively the requisitioner must remember NOT to send the order to the supplier as this could lead to the order being fulfilled more than once leading to duplicate goods or services being provided. Training will be provided by the eProcurement team.
