How will participants reach Parry Sound?
There will be a coach that leaves downtown Toronto (by the University of Toronto) on the afternoon of Tuesday 26th May, traveling to Pearson Airport (it will go to one of the airport hotels) and then on to Parry Sound. Participants flying in to Toronto Pearson airport (YYZ) must check the times with the travel coordinator Mark Pluym (mcpluym@uwo.ca) to ensure that they arrive early enough (it will take at least 60 minutes to clear customs and take the airport-hotel shuttle bus to meet the coach). The coach will depart Toronto airport area at 6 pm. Parry Sound is a 2.5 hour drive north on Highway 400. The cost of this is estimated at less than $100 CDN depending on the numbers, but $100 must be paid with registration. Refunds if the costs are less will be made at the conference.
