How will parking in the downtown area be affected during construction?
A parking lot will be constructed on the southeast corner of IL Route 159 and E. Main Street. This lot will be open to the public prior to the existing parking being disturbed for construction on E. Main Street. On-street parking within the limits of the project will be affected throughout the construction of the Central Section. Upon completion of construction of the Central Section, some on-street parking will be restored and two new public parking lots will open. To view the finished parking layout, please click here.
