New Jersey’s RPS requires 2.12% of solar capacity by 2021 or an estimated 1,500 to 2,300 MW. In just 12 years as much as 2,200 MW of solar capacity, or approximately 180 MW each year, will need to be added to the existing capacity in order to reach this goal.
