How will NBPTS teachers be paid their supplements?
As with athletic supplements, the NBPTS supplement will be divided among the 12 pay periods beginning in August and ending the following July. Teachers receiving their NBPTS certification during the course of the year will receive a lump sum of any supplements due. In the succeeding year, the state and local supplement will be divided among the 12 pay periods.
