For students with disabilities, there are a wide array of funding opportunities available including scholarships and fundraising strategies. Students who are determined to participate in an exchange program have been successful in obtaining needed funds. Don’t let financial restrictions dissuade you from promoting these experiences. Numerous strategies for raising funds are available, such as researching and applying for scholarships from the program itself, approaching a local place of worship, organizing a fundraising party, or contacting local organizations such as Lion’s Club or Rotary Club that may provide scholarship opportunities.
