How will my Housing and Council Tax Benefit be paid?
For tenants of the Council, your Housing Benefit payments are credited to your rent account and you pay less rent. For other tenants, Housing Benefit payments are normally paid at 2 or 4 weekly intervals into your bank account or direct to your landlord. Council Tax Benefit payments are credited to your Council Tax account and you pay less Council Tax.
