A. The Durasol S-4000 can be installed on almost any sunspace. Factory trained professionals locate the structural framework of the home and predrill the mounting bracket holes through any siding to tie in directly to either the wall studs or headers. On roof mount applications, the installers tie into the rafters, predrilling to avoid cracking and silicone caulking the hardware and brackets to prevent leaks. All mounting applications utilize 3/8″ lag bolts in varying length depending on mounting surface.
