Co-Star provides several methods of search and retrieval. First, individual documents can be retrieved and displayed as part of an individual data record display (i.e., one document per record). Secondly, “virtual” documents can be automatically built based on the resulting “document hit list” from a search and display at the end of the search as a single “bound” document. Finally Co-Star’s Co-View32 Multiple Document Display provides additional capabilities for displaying the first page of each hit as a full document or a thumbnail. A simple mouse click selection of a specific document provides further image manipulation for that document.
