How will my annual mammogram be covered in 2009 under the UMatter preventive care services?
Women age 35 and over can receive one diagnostic or screening mammogram per year including a breast ultrasound if needed. The first mammogram of the year plus the breast ultrasound are covered at 100%. You will be responsible for the low end diagnostic testing copay for any additional mammograms received during the year.
