How will MRC collect information outputs and outcomes, and assess the progress of the research it funds?
This information is still very important to MRC, and it is vital that we still collect this information from all of our funded research. Indeed there is an increasing demand for this information in order that the MRC can present the progress, productivity and quality of the research it funds. In light of this increasing demand, and in order to ensure that we had the most effective route to gathering this information, the MRC has rationalised a number of requests made of the research community and we have developed a new Outputs Data Gathering Tool. This online tool will enables us to collect data in a structured way so that we can analyse and report on the outputs/outcomes/impacts of our research. The Outputs Data Gathering Tool will be flexible in that information can be provided over a number of sessions, saved and returned to at a later date, and if necessary printed. We will contact you via email when you need to fill this in. In the meantime if youd like more information please co
