How will Meridians subsidy program offset the EHR costs for full time Specialists Physicians and/or their advance practice caregivers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants)?
A. Full time Specialist Physicians will receive a credit with the vendor of $8,000 to subsidize the upfront costs of license fees and a portion of the installation/training fees, and in some cases a specified number of months of the monthly fees for the system. To comply with federal regulations, Specialist Physicians will also need to make an upfront payment of at least 15% of the upfront system costs.
