How will Meridians subsidy program offset the EHR costs for full time Primary Care Physicians and/or their advance practice caregivers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants)?
A. Full time Primary Care Physicians will receive a credit with the vendor of $14,000 to subsidize the upfront costs of license fees, installation/training fees and in some cases a specified number of months of the monthly fees for the system. To comply with federal regulations, Primary Care Physicians will also need to make an upfront payment of at least 15% of the upfront system costs.
