How will maternity patients be transported?
OB patients who have delivered will be transported by our Courtesy Van. Transportation will be provided for mom and baby. A nurse will accompany the family. Women who come to the current facility with signs of early labor will be directed to the new facility. Women who are in active labor will deliver at the current facility and then be transported after delivery to the new facility. We have made provisions at both facilities to be able to perform emergency C-sections.
