How will Lost Children/Parents (LCP) be managed?
When registering as participants, parents who intend to bring their children will need to include their children’s names. Ten marshals will be located throughout the 3.2km circuit. Refer to the course map to see where they are located. When a marshal identifies a lost child he/she will call a representative based at the LCP marquee who will then collect the child from the marshal and return to the LCP marquee. From the central LCP marquee, every effort will be made to locate the parents; our participant registration database assisting in this. Parents who need to collect their children should proceed to the LCP marque immediately. Additionally, at the conclusion of the walkathon, the list of remaining children will be announced to the audience.
