As your cattle get older, the number of livestock units they count for changes very suddenly. CattleController helps you see the surprises around the corner. On the Reports page, select the Extensification Projector. This shows a whole calendar year of the livestock units on your farm. For each of the “check dates” issued by MAFF, CattleController calculates the number of livestock units on your farm on that day. For the rest of the year, CattleController looks at the stock on your farm today and calculates the number of livestock units on selected dates in the future. Finally, CattleController averages the 6 values and combines them with your sheep stock and your forage area to give you a estimate of your annual stocking density.
