How will intelligent beings explain the origin of the universe after the galaxies have separated…?
Yes, there is no reason to assume that they won’t think along similar lines as we did. Once we thought the solar system was the entire universe, then we thought the galaxy was, then the local group and now we see almost to the edge of the big bang (thanks to the Hubble). We also thought that we weren’t moving, then after a lot of resistance from the church we figured out that indeed the earth was rotating and after that we figured out that our solar system was rotating in the galaxy and that our galaxy was moving. It depends a whole lot on the intelligent race’s position, level of intelligence, thought processes and so on; but any species that starts from a point of limited intelligence toward advanced intelligence is going to develop some theories along the way and a lot of science is trial and error. The scientific method is to develop a theory to fit the available information, and then test it to the point of failure until you develop a better theory. So in science you ideas are con
