How will implementation of the Australian curriculum take place?

Timelines and processes for implementation of the Australian curriculum are being determined. The current timelines state that the curriculum will be available in the second half of 2010. It will then be implemented for K (P) – 10 implementation in 2011 and for Years 11 and 12 in 2012. ACARA on behalf of MCEECDYA will draft a proposal for consideration by education ministers about the implementation of the Australian curriculum. Further information about implementation will be provided as it becomes available.
