How will ICF work with other Identity-related Organizations?
ICF will work with: • protocol, specifications, and standards groups to include implementations within the information card ecosystem. • organizations that promote user-centric identity principles. • other groups on performing interoperability certification tests in a pragmatic inclusive process wherever possible to minimize cost and time-to-market, while meeting a quality metric. ICF will work with: (examples only; not limited to these suggestions) • Microsoft to ensure CardSpace compatibility and interoperability • OpenID to ensure OpenID interoperability across the open identity framework. • Project Liberty on all Liberty protocols and interoperability • The Higgins Project for specifications and code development • Eclipse and Apache for open source code distribution. • Concordia with identifying interoperability issues between protocols • OASIS on supporting latest versions of protocols such as SAML, et.al. • OSIS on interoperability events and identifying interoperability issues •
