How will ICF be run?
A. ICF governance model includes a Board of Directors (BoD) of two types; • Leaders of the community of professional individuals developing information cards. • Business Steering Members who are committed to the commercial development and deployment of information cards. Community membership will have at least 2 more BoD seats than the number of Business Steering Members. Initially, there will be 9 community Steering Members, and 6 business Steering Members. The BoD controls the strategic and tactical governance of the association. Day-to-day business and execution will be done by a small staff, initially consisting of an executive director, and later, an administrative assistant to assist in logistics regarding membership issues and website maintenance. Work on specific projects will be done using working groups approved by the BoD from nominations from the Board or sponsor-level members.
