How will IB affect my students study, work, and leisure time?
IB candidates participate in athletics, drama, debate/forensics, music, student government, charitable work, and still manage to go out on weekends. If students are well organized and focused, they can even manage to work while participating in IB. The key is to balance one’s responsibilities. Parents also play a significant role in students’ success in IB. Parents must recognize the commitment involved in IB participation and be ready to support the students’ efforts fully.
