Firstly I am so very sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks last year, had very heavy bleeding and was passing clots. A scan confirmed there was no heartbeat and that basically all that remained in me was my child. I was given the option of waiting for things to pass naturally (which they said could take days even weeks), having a pessary to induce it or a d&c…I opted for the d&c simply because I have 2 other children at home and didn’t want them seeing me go through it all at home.

What is your question?
