How will I know when I receive a message from the AlertSU system?
The Caller ID function on a cell phone or landline (if available) will display the following number: (650) 725-5555. Entering (650) 725-5555 in your cell phone contacts and naming it AlertSU is recommended. This eliminates the need to remember the number, which is also the University Emergency Information Hotline, and helps prevent deletion of an emergency message because the caller is unknown.
