A The expiry date on your provisional licence will indicate the minimum combined period you will be required to hold a P1 and P2 licence. You can ask any Customer Service Centre to tell you the earliest date that you may progress to a P2 licence. This will generally be 12 months after the date of issue of the P1 licence.
