How will I know what grades will be required to acheieve a scholarship?
The grades required for the LU scholarship will be specified in the financial awards offer letter sent to you by the Undergraduate Admissions Office at Lancaster University. The results required to achieve a scholarship will be usually be higher than the standard entry level grades. For example if the course entry requirement is grade BBB, then the scholarship level may be AAB. Scholarship grade levels may vary between courses and entry years and do not always remain the same. If you meet the scholarship grade levels specified and made the University firm choice the value fo the scholarship will be an annual award of £1000 per annum for the duration of your studies, subject to satisfactory academic progress. (see Q21) If you do not acheive the scholarship grades grades required but later have a paper remarked, meaning you do meet the scholarship grades, please contact Student Services.
