A – In many cases the Student Disability Service will have been notified of a disability when the student makes application to study. They currently use this system to alert departments to the potential requirement for special provision to make the course accessible (either physically or from an academic/teaching aspect) it is therefore possible to make a similar timely consideration of evacuation requirements.
