How will I get the reports that will be created through both the AHA public reporting initative and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) non-public reporting projects?
You must have access to QualityNet in order to receive reports from the AHA Quality Initiative, and to view and create comparative reports on the data you submit to the QIO Clinical Data Warehouse warehouse for the CMS clinical quality improvement projects. In addition to providing national comparative reports, QualityNet also provides data transfer that is compliant with the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Also, QualityNet allows for communication between your facility and NMMRA. If your hospital is participating in any initiative with NMMRA, QualityNet allows for easy sharing of data.
