How will Hurricane Dean affect businesses next week?

Hey, i know how you feel, I’m in same situation as well. I’m booked to go to Cancun on Aug 28. First thing i would do is wait until the storm passes. Afterwards, that Wednesday or Thursday call the hotel and ask how badly the hurricane hit and if the city is in decent condition to visit. The city will look a little damaged( as far as fallen palm trees, broken signs and some flooding) but i’m pretty sure that the hotels will clean up their resorts right after it passes. The news has been reporting that the resorts are in well preparation for the hurricane. I would also look up if anybody posted a review of the city on Expedia.com after the storm hits. That would give you a good idea (from a tourist view) of how the city is right there and then. Remember you can still cancel, if you want to and reschedule for another time. I know that sucks, but the best thing to do right now is to wait and pray that the hurricane will swirl in another direction.
