How will Hope Place help homeless women and their kids?
Hope Place is a faith-based, long-term residential program for women and children who have a desire to find healing from problems that led them into homelessness. We provide a safe and healthy environment, so that women and children are able to be open about their issues and get the support and unconditional love that they need so that their lives can be transformed. We provide restorative care and counseling to women and women with children who struggle with addictions, domestic violence and/or mental health issues and who have a desire to be productive and contributing member of society. To that end we also provide skills training and education. Finally, for the kids in our program we work with their schools to verify their attitudes, behaviors, and grades. We provide counseling for the children as they grapple with their current situation and their relationships with their parents and friends.
