Surely they could command a higher price premium for certified wood. Conspiracy theories don’t really add value to the debate. Also, the FSC process is not an end in itself, it is being reassessed and people will be involved thoughout the the time. If the Standard is not fulfilled, there is a way to let the (international) market know.
