How will funding recipients be selected?
Eligible entities that submit an Expression of Interest Form will be assigned a number and entered into a lottery. During the lottery, numbers will be selected at random, and funding assigned to interested entities in the order selected until no funds remain. Priority will be given to entities operating diesel school bus fleets in non-attainment areas for ozone and/or particulate matter. In addition, steps will be taken to ensure geographic diversity among grant recipients.
